Zero to job-ready in three months: Over 12 consecutive Saturdays (9 AM–6 PM) in Metro Manila, you’ll begin with three weekends of core fundamentals—data cleaning, manipulation, and introductory visualization—taught from scratch.

Tracks (Weeks 4–12)

Attitude over background: FTW values your drive and curiosity—no STEM degree required.

• Who Can Apply: Open to all women demonstrating commitment and financial need; local candidates prioritized due to face-to-face format.
• Selection Criteria: Based on aptitude assessment, data activity, and interview to ensure a diverse, motivated cohort.

How to Apply

1. Profile & Assessment (≈75 min):

How the Program Works:

The Data Fundamentals Training is a 12-weekend, full-day Saturday program designed to help women take their first steps into a career in data. All scholars begin with 3 sessions covering the basics of working with data – no prior experience needed.

After these first 3 sessions, scholars are guided to either the Data Analytics (DA) or Data Engineering (DE) track for the remaining 9 Saturday sessions. This approach ensures each scholar trains in the path where they are most likely to succeed.

Data Analytics Track:

You’ll learn how to make sense of data and present it clearly using charts and dashboards. You’ll use tools like Excel and Tableau to turn numbers into easy-to-understand visuals. This track is perfect if you enjoy finding patterns and sharing stories with data, and everything is taught from scratch.

Data Engineering Track:

You’ll learn simple ways to organize, store, and manage data. This includes using SQL (a basic tool for working with databases) and an introduction to cloud platforms (how companies store data online). All lessons are beginner-friendly and focus on the essentials.
